Pavers Treatment
-Treat for algae and mold: a special mold inhibitor formula is sprayed on pavers surface to break the bond between the mold and the pavers, makes it float to the top and ready to be washed away.
-Treat for weeds: we use a special chemicals that is sprayed between the joints which kill weeds to the roots giving it the brown yellow color, make it easy to be picked up and washed away.
-Efflorescence Treatment: The most important part in pavers treatment is the treatment from efflorescence, Efflorescence is the white hazy look on the top of your pavers, and when you spell water on it, it washes away but once it dries it shows back, Efflorescence needs special acids made for this purpose to dissolve it’s particles within pavers open extra pores make it ready to absorb more sealant, which enhances the color better and make the protection lasts longer, If pavers were never been sealed before, efflorescence treatment is a must, or it will always show white patches on the surface which we call a Failed Sealer.
High Pressure Cleaning:
– A surface cleaner with a high water pressure is used to remove all the dirt on pavers surface, also a little from the dirt mold, dead weeds between the joints.
– A rotary tip with a high pressure is used to dig between the joints, removing the rest of the dead weed also any residual mold or old sand from the builder.
– Then surface will be neutralized and well rinsed from all the treatment, cleaning chemicals, making it ready to be sealed.
Joint Sanding
-After we are done with the cleaning process Now all the wide open gaps between pavers are ready to be filled with sand, protecting those joints from future mold and weeds grow.
–We use special grain size sand that allows evaporation of foundation water and eliminate calcium build
-Excess sand will be blown away using a weed blower to insure there will be no sand trapped between the sealer and the pavers.
-Please make sure to ask your technician about the best color of sand that would match the color of your pavers.
Applying our Premium Sealer
A-Joint stabilization: we spray a diluted coat of two part Uterine water based sealer with special ratios to make sure that the sealer will soak between sand particles to lock the joints and prevent future mold and weeds.
B- Cover Coat: A heavy coat of sealer will be applied over pavers to give it a protective shiny colorful look, adding a brand new look to your driveway, pool dick, patio or even walkway. (we give two to three coats depending on pavers type and condition)
